Is there a third choice?
Susie had been sulking since Mitch had given Susie the choice of sending Jinny away or exterminating her.
Jinny was getting whiter and whiter, already white to the point of having some greenish color and the blood flow is slowing down almost to a halt.
The blood in her body was not sure if it can still be called blood, and the reason it flows is because she was nailed to the barren mountain before and drew the Yin energy from the Yin vein into her body.
Now that she has left the barren mountain without the Yin energy to maintain her, she is gradually becoming stiff as well.
Susie took her back to the barren mountain to "recharge" every few days. Each time the 'power is full', Jinny's blue face will turn back to cold white skin. But she knew that cannot sustain longer.
Because the Expert Patriarch had been rushing her.
That day, Susie took Jinny back to the barren mountains to "recharge" again, and Martin drove his car and pulled over.
"It's too cold to go down there." Martin turned around and said.
But Susie jumped out of the car.
Martin hurriedly got out of the car, got her a scarf and put it around her, pulled her down jacket tightly and put on her furry gloves, and then said, "I will just go up with your Aunt Jinny."
Susie shook her head, "It's dangerous to go up by yourself."
The barren mountain looked like a flat, undeveloped, low hill, but when you actually walked up it, it was easy to get lost.
"Last time Dad and Nathan got lost, but Dad was so good he got out on his own without her having to look for him. Uncle Martin couldn't!" Susie said.
Martin remained silent.
He let out a low grunt, "Why can't Uncle Martin?"
But I have to admit, Kellen was really good. He cannot see the ghost. But let him find a way to fight ghosts.
He tried several times, but could not find the feeling, the god of war is after all the god of war, he cannot compare.
Seeing the little kid's proud and confident look, the uncle couldn't help but feel a tinge of sourness.
Susie patted him on the head, "Uncle Martin is good at making money! Money is even better!"
When it comes to money, the little girl's eyes shine brightly.
Martin's mouth was hooked, was comforted.
But he was still worrying about Susie going up there, the first few times they came without snow. But it was snowing this time.
Susie thought about it and put a talisman on Jinny, "Aunt Jinny can go by herself."
"Remember to walk with bent knees!"
"When you get to the cave, go lie down in the coffin."
She rearranged the shelter to ensure that Aunt Jinny could recharge every time.
Jinny's eyes were staring straight at the talisman stacked to the front of her forehead, she had regained her human form and had beautiful eyes. But now she was staring at the talisman on her forehead and had become cross-eyed.
I don't know if it was because of the talisman posted on her forehead, but she suddenly jumped up and walked towards the barren mountain, hopping and skipping with both hands raised.
Susie and Wade remained silent.
Martin was surprised, "Why are you suddenly a zombie?"
Susie shouted across the air, "Aunt Jinny, you are not a zombie, walk properly!"
Jinny immediately put her hands down and waved her two feet fast, and soon disappeared.
The first snow of winter came late and fell heavily. Martin's car was waiting at the foot of the barren mountain, and the headlights lit up the snowflakes like dancing elves in the dark.
It was warm inside the car, and Wade leaned out the window and looked at the mountain, asking, "It's snowing, what if my mom accidentally rolls down."
Susie said, "Don't worry, my Aunt Jinny is walking smoothly now that her knees are bending."
Hamza looked down at the tablet, expressionless.
Suddenly Martin asked, "Susie, is your Aunt Jinny not going to be able to stay?"
Susie deflated, "Uncle Martin, how do you know?"
Martin looked at her, the little one had everything written on her face, not only he can see it, everyone can see it.
So recently Mrs. Alana has been giving Jinny food for fear that no one will cook for her after she goes on the road.
Susie hugged the warmer in her arms and whispered, "Expert Patriarch said that the Aunt Jinny had died long ago, but now she is still around, so she can only be sent away or extinguished."
Martin's fingertips gripping the steering wheel tightened slightly.
"What does it mean to send away?" He asked.
Susie said, "It means to send down the soul of Aunt Jinny, after sending it away, Aunt Jinny is really dead."
Martin was silent for a moment and asked, "What's the difference between that and extinction?"
Susie replied, "If you send the soul away, there is still a soul. But if you extinguish it, there is no soul left."
Martin said, "This is a huge problem for a child.
So, is it right or wrong for her to save Jinny, and what does it mean to her?
Martin just felt heartbroken that a child of just over four years old was facing with a choice that even adult couldn’t make.
He reached out and gently stroked Susie's hair and asked, "Is there a third choice?"
Susie shook her head.
Hamza stared at the tablet and didn't touch it until the bright light went out.
He pursed his lips and suddenly said, "You can talk to your master about the terms."
Susie wrinkled her nose, "Expert Patriarch can be so stubborn sometimes, saying no means no!"
Hamza grunted, "That's because you don't know how to make a deal."
"When you want to achieve something, throw out an option that is unacceptable to the other side and then give your desired goal."
"When you compare the two, the average person will choose the one you want to achieve."
Susie said, "I don't understand what you are talking about.
"What do you mean?" She asked, dumbfounded.
Hamza, "For example, if you ask Grandma for a million dollars, she won't give it to you..."
Susie, "No, grandma will give it to me."
Hamza remained silent.
He emphasized, "Let's make an analogy."
Susie, "Okay, you say."
Hamza said, "If you ask grandma for a million, she won't give it to you, but if you ask her for a hundred million... Grandma will say, "A hundred million is absolutely impossible, at most you can only get a million!"
"See, you've achieved your goal of a million."
Hamza, with his cool little face, said these words as if he were a shrunken version of the boss.
Susie suddenly realized, "I got it, I told Expert Patriarch that I wanted to resurrect my Aunt Jinny completely. Expert Patriarch will never agree, said at most can help me keep my Aunt Jinny... Is that right?"
Hamza re-taps the tablet and lets out a vague umph.
Martin sighed and gave Susie's face a loving squeeze, "Susie, you're very smart."
"Your master is very good to you, this method of negotiation should not be used on your master."
At this point, Martin suddenly paused.
It's just that I also have a selfish heart... Uncle Martin can't let you face such a test alone.
Uncle Martin cannot afford to see you unhappy.
So, he was silent too and did not speak again later.
