Who~ is my groom...
Susie looked at the female ghost and then at Uncle Jenkins, confused. "Who is your groom?" she asked.
The female ghost gazed at Paul and muttered under her breath, "Who is my groom..."
Wade thought to himself as the soundtrack of magical collapse played in his mind, "Who~ is~ my groom~" Don't make me look left and right, don't make me guess every day. Who is my groom... I am your groom... Hey hey~ quickly come to my side...
Wade shook his head suddenly, stopping his thoughts. What was he thinking? Was it time to sing now?
The female ghost murmured to herself, "I don't know. Any man is my groom."
Her voice echoed eerily in the quiet courtyard, making it even more chilling.
The fickle ghost was speechless, "Oh my god, she's even more promiscuous than me."
Susie had to change the subject and asked, "Then how did you die?"
The female ghost replied, "I don't know... I found out I was dead after I died."
Everyone was silent.
That was no answer at all.
Susie sighed. What could they do? Could hitting her head with a hammer help her remember?
Seeing Susie's expression, the female ghost quickly added, "Wait, I remember a little bit."
The female ghost tried hard to recall, "My husband and I got married and went to the bridal chamber. My husband accidentally touched the fire... and then he knocked over the candle."
"In the darkness, I was afraid and was looking for my husband, but I heard the sound of something being stacked, and then my husband's screams."
"When I opened my eyes again, I saw myself hanging from the beam..."
The female ghost spoke in a resentful tone, with that typical soft and gentle tone of an ancient person, half covering her face, making people shiver.
Wade analyzed, "If the groom was killed in the dark, there should have been some traces left behind, even if he was eaten... there should be some blood or bones left."
The fickle ghost also participated in the analysis, "But the groom disappeared. This shows that the groom was the killer."
Wade furrowed his brows, "Then why was there the groom's scream?"
The fickle ghost rested his chin on his hand, "Could he have been intentionally making noise to confuse us?"
Wade said, "It's possible... but the groom is not a beast, and he couldn't have eaten a person."
As he said this, he realized that he was discussing a tragedy with a ghost, which scared him. The fickle ghost urged him, "Continue, don't stop."
The female ghost in a red wedding dress heard Wade's analysis from afar and weakly said, "No, my husband's screams were real, not fake..." Everyone felt confused by the thick fog.
Hamza coldly said, "Look for more clues." The scene in this haunted house was a locked room escape, and they needed to solve the case. Now that he had figured it out, Martin should have cleared the scene. There were no staff members dressed as ghosts in this haunted house, but a real female ghost had appeared by mistake, creating an identical scene.
Whatever the situation, since the female ghost appeared in this scene, there must be some commonality, such as a clue left behind in this scene that could help them deduce the case. Wade nodded and said, "Let's go back to the scene of the crime!" Hamza shook his head and said, "Let's check the backyard first."
They had already searched the main house, but not the backyard. If there was something hidden in the backyard, it would be like spying on their every move. In the end, everyone agreed to check the backyard first.
Now everyone felt that there was still something lurking in the dark, watching their every move. In order to prevent whatever was hiding in the backyard from escaping, several evil ghosts guarded the gate.
Susie took out a red rope, one tied around the female ghost's head and the other around the red wedding dress. Then she handed the rope to the coward ghost and said, "Brother, can you help me hold this?" The coward ghost smiled softly and replied, "Yes, brother can help." He held the red rope in one hand and gently rubbed Susie's head with the other, saying, "Be careful." Susie nodded... and then picked up her purple gold hammer.
The layout of the backyard is similar to that of the main house, with a relatively large chamber in the center. The chamber is divided into inner and outer sections, with a bedroom on one side and a women's study on the other.
There are two smaller rooms on either side of the chamber, which seem to be living quarters for servants.
The two small rooms on the east side were just smashed by Susie with her purple-gold hammer, and the doors and windows were broken. The layout inside was visible at a glance.
There were only two small beds.
The other small room was similar, but looked more like a clean room with a large bathtub.
Several people walked towards the two small rooms on the west side.
Susie stared at one of the rooms, unconsciously gripping her purple-gold hammer tightly.
Paul pushed open the door to the first room, which was cluttered with scattered tables, chairs, and iron basins.
After a quick search, they found nothing.
They arrived at the last room.
Paul was about to push open the door when Susie suddenly stopped him, "Uncle Jenkins, let me do it."
Uncle Jenkins had just been frightened by the red wedding dress and was already scared. However, since he was the only adult there, he had to summon up the courage to do it.
Now that Susie said this, he instinctively wanted to retreat, but quickly shook his head, "Susie, you stand behind Uncle Jenkins, and he will open the door."
Susie tilted her head, "Are you sure, Uncle Jenkins?"
Paul remained silent.
When Susie asked this question earlier, it was just a moment ago.
Then he saw something strange.
"Uncle Jenkins...," Paul said with difficulty.
Susie understood and grabbed his big hand, shielding him behind her.
"Let me do it! All of you stay back!"
As Susie spoke, she stared at the door of the room.
He's here!
The groom must be hiding inside!
Susie swung her purple-gold hammer and knocked down the door with one blow.
The four-year-old little girl was demolishing the house with violence.
Paul's mouth twitched. He thought she was going to push the door open...
After a crash, Susie immediately took a step back and threw in the restraining net, Eight trigrams compass, and everything else!
Wade widened his eyes and even saw a golden bun.
Uh, a bun??
As the smoke cleared, the scene inside became clear to everyone, and they couldn't help but feel a chill down their spines.
The room was filled with paper people, some standing next to the door, some hanging on the wall, and some lying on the ground...
They had pale faces with a circle of bright red blush on their cheeks. Their eyes seemed to be staring at people, and some even had a strange smile on their lips.
Wade was so scared that his legs went weak, stuttering, "This, this is not where the daughter lives in the backyard... why are there paper people..."
Susie looked around cautiously, her ears perked up like a cat's.
She didn't sense anything, so the room really was filled with just paper people.
"How strange." Susie raised her hand, grabbed the arm of a paper person...
