Mom, Can You Handle It?

Michael climbed up the stairs and, looking up, saw a pair of small feet and then a disheveled child.

"Oh my god!" Uncle Michael's legs went weak, and he fell down the makeshift stairs.

His pupils shrank.

Then he saw Jonathan react quickly and pounce towards him... catching the jar of wine that fell down.

Michael's relief froze on his face, and he fell to the ground with a bang.

Jonathan said with a sigh of relief, "Phew... luckily I caught it."

Michael remained silent.

Aren't you afraid of killing your little brother by dropping that jar?

Martin looked at the small figure on the roof in surprise and asked, "Susie?"

Clara was also stunned. Wasn't Susie asleep?

She was sure she had just put Susie to sleep!

Clara floated up nervously and asked, "How did you get up here? How did you climb up? Did you bump into anything?"

Susie shook her head and said, "I dreamt that Uncle Martin and Mom were secretly eating snacks, so I came up."

But when she came up, she didn't see them, so she thought they had already finished eating.

Just as she was about to go down, she heard Uncle Michael's voice.

Martin climbed up in a few steps, held Susie in his arms, and scolded, "Don't climb up alone next time, you hear me?"

Ryan also came up and felt a bit scared in his heart, "You kid, what if you fell down? This is the fifth floor!"

Jonathan followed closely with the wine, clicked his tongue and said, "You're quite bold, just like your mom when she was a kid."

David's face was tense. There was a slightly raised fence on the roof of the sunroom, only up to Susie's chest. If she leaned on it and kicked her legs a little, she would fall down... It was really scary.

Tomorrow he would change this makeshift ladder to a folding ladder that only adults could pull down. When it's not in use, it can be folded up... Otherwise, it's too dangerous...

While David was considering the matter of changing the ladder, everyone else was concerned about Susie, but only Michael was still lying on the terrace.

"Hey, hey, don't you care about me?" he said.

Jonathan glanced at him and said, "You're tough, what do you need care for?"

Michael had only climbed two steps just now, which was equivalent to falling off a chair.

Seeing that he could still shout and scream, what more care did he need?

Did he need someone to support him?

Michael remained silent.

He touched his nose and got up, muttering, "Little brother really is worthless!"

Uncle Michael patted his butt, messed up his hair, and climbed up in three steps, sitting down next to Susie.

The sunroom was made of tempered glass, bulletproof and blast-proof. Everyone sat on the roof, as if suspended in mid-air.

Looking at the sky, the moon was bright, and the stars were sparse.

The sky was clean and serene blue.

"Ah...I haven't looked at the moon like this in a long time."

Clara lay on the glass, looking at the moon with a smile on her lips.

Susie lay down next to her, placing the little bunny to the side, spreading out its hands, feet, and ears, excitedly saying, "Lie down flat, lie down flat!"

Clara chuckled, "Who taught you the phrase 'lie down flat'?"

Susie leaned against Clara's arms and said, "Daddy taught me!"

Clara sneered, wondering what kind of things her father taught her.

Martin followed Susie's lead and set up a "little altar" on the side, putting down the turkey, shrimp noodles, and other snacks and small cakes that Clara wanted to eat, and pouring a glass of wine.

Then he lit three sticks of incense.

Clara smelled the wine and quickly got up, saying, "Wow, what kind of wine is this? It smells so good!"

Jonathan said, "I brought it back from the Dayan Ancient City when we were filming last time. It's Grandma Chloe's homemade Rose Grape Wine."

He looked at Clara, who was curious and leaned over the wine glass.

He poured a glass of wine, sipping it slowly and saying, "Unlike others who soak flowers in rice wine, she uses an ancient method to ferment it directly with rose petals and grapes, and that's how she gets the Rose Grape Wine."

Clara smelled it, exclaimed, "It's so delicious! Grapes and roses sound unrelated, but when combined, it tastes surprisingly good."

The Murray brothers also took a sip and carefully tasted it, as if trying to experience what their sister experienced.

Only Michael drank it all in one gulp and smacked his lips, saying, "It's just like that, no taste."

Jonathan didn't even look up and kicked him to the side with one foot.

Not good, not good but still stealing a drink?

Martin smiled faintly, "It's probably only about 7 or 8 degrees, more of the floral and fruit aroma. Suitable for girls to drink."

He noticed that Clara seemed to have already finished her drink and couldn't smell the wine anymore, so he guessed she had already had a glass.

Martin picked up the glass and took a sip, only to find that the wine had really lost its flavor.

He quietly poured another glass for Clara.

He never thought that after their sister's death, they would still have a day to gather together and drink...

While everyone was drinking and chatting, Susie played on the side.

Suddenly Martin realized something was wrong.

Susie was holding a little bunny and running towards them with a wobbly gait. She stumbled and fell into David's arms with a thud.

David said, "Susie?"

Michael was puzzled, "Why is she walking so unsteadily?"

Ryan's expression froze, "Her walking posture is not right!"

Susie crawled out of David's arms, holding a glass in her little hand.

"Wow, it's so good!"

Then she shook her head and said, "No, no, it's delicious!"

Everyone was stunned.

When did this little one has a drink?

Ryan quickly pinched her little mouth and said, "Susie, children can't drink alcohol!"

Susie just felt that the rose and grape wine were delicious, a bit sweet, and very refreshing... but now she felt a little dizzy.

"Why can't children drink?" Susie burped, "Why can adults do so many things that children can't?"

"Why can't children do this or that?"

Everyone was speechless.

Ryan frowned and said, "Alcohol is not good for a child's brain development! Drinking alcohol will make children stupid."

Susie pouted and said, "Uncle Ryan, you're lying. Susie just drank, but now I'm still very smart! Very smart!"

She opened her arms and gestured, "How smart I am, a hundred times smarter than Alex, and smarter than the Moon Lady!"

Everyone was stunned.

Oh, my goodness, this little one is actually drunk!

Clara couldn't help but laugh and raised a finger, "Susie, what is this?"

Susie grabbed Clara's finger and said, "Mom, you can't fool me, this is one!"

Clara raised two fingers, bent one down and said, "What about this?"

When Susie was about to answer, Clara quickly bent down the other finger and made it three.

Susie remained silent.

She looked at Clara suspiciously and said, "Mom, can't you handle it?"
