Can't We Get to Know Each Other Again?

These sarcastic and peculiar individuals are none other than the male classmates in the class.

As they said, more and more people quickly came to know that there was a troublemaker in the sixth grade. Whenever they saw Susie getting first place, she would cry and say that she bought it.

Mia cried again, but this time she cried because she was "scolded". With so many sarcastic people, she became famous.

It was not the fame she wanted, but she became the notorious "troublemaker" and "lemonhead" of the whole school.

After returning home, the Blue family also found out about this matter. Not only did Mia not receive any comfort, but she was also severely scolded by her father.

From then on, everyone who saw her wore a disdainful and sarcastic smile. She gained a reputation for being a sour lemon and a petty envious person. Even when she entered junior high school, and later high school, she encountered more girls who were skilled in scheming and manipulation. People in the know would occasionally bring up her past to mock her.

Mia lived a miserable half-life like this. She failed to get into her dream university, Kyoto University, and had to apply to a remote university to escape from the rumors and gossip. Finally, she was able to leave behind these dark times.

Originally, she could be considered the young lady of a small family in Los Angeles. Even if the Blue family was not well-off, the social connections she could have were networks that ordinary people would never come into contact with in their lifetime.

Later, he/she unexpectedly created this circle by himself/herself and could no longer fit in, completely blending into the crowd.

She could never have imagined that her entire life's fate would be "reversed" by herself in elementary school.

Mia often regrets that if she hadn't been so mischievous in elementary school, if that damn Susie had died earlier...

Then she wouldn't have ended up like this. She would still be the belle of the Los Angeles high society, able to marry into a wealthy family and become a lady of privilege.

Unfortunately, there were no "ifs". Mia attributed all the reasons for her loneliness to Susie and as she grew older, she began to hate Susie more and more.

However, all of those were her own jealousy and hidden resentment. Behind her back, she spread so many rumors and gossip. Susie didn't even retaliate, she didn't even give her a single unnecessary glance.

She could still blame Susie for this... refusing to admit that she had played herself to death.

But no matter how much she hated, it was useless. Don't talk about influencing Susie, she didn't even have the chance to see Susie again.

Of course, these are all stories for another time.

Wade happily led his sister home, walking slowly on the main road of the school.

Surrounded by envious glances, Wade felt so cool!

Look! This is his sister!

His sister was amazing!

I had a younger sister, do you have one?

Some male classmates who had a good relationship with him wanted to hit him when they saw how cocky he was.

Just as Susie was passing by a mango tree, someone suddenly called out to her.

"Susie, classmate!"

Susie turned her head and raised her eyebrows.

"Brett," she said.

It has been a week already, don't tell her that he has been standing here for a week? Has he waited for a week?

Brett did wait here for a week, and besides worrying about his sister's meals and going back to check on them, he didn't do anything else. He was just waiting for Susie.

"I have been waiting for you here for a week," Brett said calmly. "You should know... So, I just wanted to talk to you."

Wade sneered, is this considered moral blackmail?

"I waited for you for a week, you see how sincere I am," so "if you don't talk to me, then it's your fault."

But his sincerity could only move himself. Wade and Lucy, one on each side, supported Susie's arms and said, "Sister, let's go!"

Lucy turned around and made a threatening fist gesture, saying, "Kid, don't let me see you again!"

Brett did not intervene, but silently watched as Susie was taken away by her siblings.

He felt helpless about the world. He spent a week waiting for someone so sincerely like never before.

But she didn't appreciate it at all.

The young ladies and gentlemen of the Murray family, having never experienced the hardships and difficulties of the world, do not understand that some people are already struggling just to survive. Therefore, they are naturally arrogant and do not consider others or give them opportunities.

But Brett wouldn't give up either.

He had already anticipated that he would be rejected once, so he went to the Murray family again, preparing to meet Susie for the first time.

Susie had just returned home when Colt came over and said that someone had come to visit.

"He was a teenager of about 15 years old, who called himself Brett. He said to me, 'Tell Miss that I'm here, she will know.'"

Susie hummed, "Indeed, I knew."

She didn't want to meet Brett originally, but she thought that she might have to go back in a few days... In the end, she still went to meet him.

"What exactly do you want?" Susie confronted Brett, speaking frankly. "We are not on the same page, and whatever you're looking for from me, I won't give it to you."

She paused for a moment and then added, "I won't give any amount of money!"

Although she liked money very much, it seemed that little Yama, who was destined to be in the underworld, had no use for money, but she still liked it.

But there are limits to liking, and Susie understands this.

Brett sighed, "Can't we get to know each other again? I admit, I was rude before."
