Synopsis

Dr. Alistair Humphrey, a cynical and disillusioned bioengineer, scoffs at the ancient myth that a woman can be fashioned from a man's rib. He dedicates his life to disproving such antiquated notions. However, his carefully constructed world crumbles when a clandestine project he inadvertently triggers yields an impossible result: Elara, a young girl seemingly formed from organic material with startling similarities to human bone. Alistair, torn between scientific curiosity and paternal instinct, must protect Elara from those who seek to exploit her unique nature, while unraveling the mystery of her creation and confronting his own buried humanity. He's not obsessed, he just has a scientific, and maybe, a protective interest.
